The Korana
is a river in central Croatia and west Bosnia and
Herzegovina. The river has a total length of 138.6 km and watershed area
of 2,301.5 kmē. The river's name is derived from Proto-Indo-European *karr-,
"rock". It was recorded in the 13th century as Coranna and Corona. |
Mala Kapela
is a mountain in Croatia, part of the Dinaric Alps. It
stretches in the direction northwest-southeast, and it extends from the
mountain pass called "Kapela" or "Vrh Kapele" that separates it from
Velika Kapela, down to the mountain pass that connects Otočac and
Plitvice and from then on to Plješevica. |
